Perfume, tropical fresh pineapple, perserved quince and bruised apple notes on the nose. The palate is broad with layers of fruit, zest and fynbos. A fresh finish with the slightest bit of grip which will age well.

The area in and around the Piekenierskloof has become increasingly popular with star-gazers as clear night sky reveals an unseen plethora of stars and constellations, not visible from nearby towns or cities. One such place is Maankloof, home to this very special block of Chenin Blanc, a certified heritage vintage planted in 1962.

Whole bunch pressed. Naturally fermentated in stainless steel and kept on the lees for 10 months.
