Description
The wine is rich and intense with brooding flavours of malted dark chocolate, salted black liquorice and blueberries. A hint of mint adds freshness and nuance to the glossy tannins. The wine finishes dry with an long, luscious character which ends with a refreshing savouriness.

The distinct ravine which embodies Stellenbosch Kloof harnesses all the qualities of a well-orientated compass. Varying elevations and aspects allows us to grow a selection of classic varieties to specific sites that optimise this expression through their location.

Vinification
After the grapes were picked, the whole bunches were fermented in an open-top tank. Where the grapes were punched down three times a day. Whereafter they were pressed with the stems. The gentle pressing ensure full-flavoured wines with soft, balanced tannins.
