Slaley

Marjean Smit started as assistant winemaker at Slaley beginning of 2018. She obtained a degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Stellenbosch in 2017.

She has an immense passion for wine. From the first time she stepped inside the cellar as a young girl, she knew she wanted to follow in her father's footsteps and become a winemaker.

She is excited for what is yet to come and for what the industry still has to offer.
