Although Cinsaut initially was known as a table grape, in recent times its made a name for itself as a serious wine grape. The 2021 Mischa Cinsaut is not only our maiden Cinsault, but it is also made from certified, heritage old bush vines.

Cinsaut is a large red grape from the Languedoc-Roussillon region in France. It's a large size and heat tolerance made it a popular table grape in the past, but have since been used for wine production.

Bush vines that were planted in 1974 on the farm Klein Helderberg, graced Mischa Estate with exceptional fruit and this incredible wine is the end result. From the moment you look at it until long after it's been swallowed, this Cinsaut delivers deep and satisfying pleasure
