Description
Enticing nose of quince, yellow apple, peach, naartjies with a hint of lemon rind. The palate is full of vigour, crisp acidity, with hints of lemon grass, lime, stone fruits, and dried herbs. Precise and focused, acidity adding structure and backbone, with a mineral finish. Enjoy now or age carefully over the next 5-7 years for a richer and fuller fruit expression.

Vinification
On arrival in the cellar, the grapes were whole bunch pressed, and the juice was allowed to clarify naturally. Spontaneous fermentation took place in 400L French oak barrels, 11% new, 16% third fill and the balance neutral oak barrels. After fermentation, the barrels are rolled once a month for nine months before blending and bottling in February 2022.
