wolvenhoek vineyards

Wolvenhoek vineyards lies at the foot of a luscious green hill, the 'Groenberg' in Wellington. This family owned farm is part of the old vine project. Our oldest chenin blanc block is from 1977 the other ones from 1985 and 1986. Of which we make easy-drinking and premium wines. The Emerald Hill protects the vines from the wind that howls like a wolfpack through the mountains and creates a unique cool temperature in the hot Wellington area.

It is a testimony to the distinctive terroir of the Groenberg and the underrated capacity of Wellington old vines.
