Rooted in the firm belief of natural winemaking, Rebel Rebel wines are made honestly and in harmony with nature. Established in the Bottelary region of Stellenbosch, Rebel Rebel Wines was founded in 2020 by winemaker Kayleigh Hattingh.
The wines are made naturally. No alterations or adjustments. Just pure terrior and honest reflections thereof.

Kayleigh Hattingh
Kayleigh Hattingh is a first generation winemaker who grew up in the shadow of the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch. After completing her Viticulture and Oenology degree at Stellenbosch University, she gained practical experience in various cellars around the word. Most notably at Mullineux and Leeu Family Wines, Fable Mountain, Ovid Napa Valley and Terroir al Limit in Priorat, Spain. The urge to return home, and love for the region, drew her back to the Bottelary. When luck met opportunity, a natural fit to join the team at Kaapzicht Wine Estate presented itself, where she has been employed as Assistant Winemaker since 2018. In 2020, she established Rebel Rebel Wines with it's maiden vintage of Syrah, and in 2021 an Old Vine Colombar joined the range
