Strange Kompanjie

SKU is a band of happy ferments that gives voice to the Cape’s stranger grapes and intends to have some fun in the process. Winemaker Ryno Booysen scour the Cape for old vines, weird varietals and free beer, creating a cultivar club for the underdog. Currently occupying a very small house in Franschhoek and borrowing other folk’s winemaking facilities, sometimes even with permission.
