Koelenhof’s own label wines succeed in offering the ever elusive combination of superb quality married with excellent value. Koelenhof Wine Cellar is situated among vineyard-covered slopes, 14 kilometres outside the beautiful town of Stellenbosch in the Western Cape region of South Africa. Koelenhof has been blessed in 2021 with amazing accolades all across the globe, and to top it off, Tim Atkin (MW) awarded Koelenhof as his producer cellar of the year in his annual 2021 report.

Nicholas Husselman and Handré Visagie
Nicholas Husselman, became Koelenhof’s winemaker in October 2017. Nicholas worked nearly 7 years at Badsberg Wine Cellar as Red Winemaker and Viticulturist. In 2016 he won the prestigious Generaal Smuts trofee at the SA Young Wine Show for a wooded Pinotage. Nicholas was born in Cape town and crew up in Cradock, a small town in Eastern Cape Province. Nicholas holds a B.Sc Agric degree in Oenology and Viticulture from Stellenbosch University.
