Beaumont is a family owned and managed farm situated in the heart of the town Bot River in the Walker Bay region. Jayne and Raoul bought the farm in 1974 and set about replanting the vineyards and in 1993 the first wines were made. Sebastian Beaumont took over the winemaking and farming in 2004. Today his winemaking aims at producing authentic wines that capture the essence of their Bot River terroir. Focused on Chenin Blanc, Syrah, Pinotage and Mourvedre. "Hope Marguerite" Chenin Blanc is seen as one the benchmark Chenin's in the country and "Vitruvian" is their Mourvedre driven blend.
