Old vines make wines that reflect the earth and the terroir they grow in.  They exist because of the people who touched and tended them over many years. Wines from old vines reflect the vast and varied landscape of South Africa.

The Certified Heritage Vineyards seal guarantees authentic wines made from vineyards of 35 years or older.  These wines do not represent all the wines in South Africa made from old vineyards but rather represent the members of the Old Vine Project who support this cause.  Hopefully we will see this list grow infinitely.
